Seed Funding received!

Following a recent pitch at a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style event, the 2017 Million Makers were successful in receiving £1,500 seed funding to help kick-start their proposals. The panel included Barratt representatives Andy George and Matt Higgins, as well as Jo Dolan from The Prince’s Trust and Tom Joule, founder of British fashion and lifestyle brand, Joules.

The team is now on course to deliver a series of events and invites you to get involved, participate and donate wherever you can. Their aim is to raise over £20,000 for the charity.

Below are some of the events planned for 2017:

Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge – Wednesday 31st May
Completing the 24 mile, 5,200ft ascent climb in under 12 hours will be a challenge to remember. Having received interest from previous graduates and current undergraduates, they are inviting teams and individuals across the group to join them in completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks at the end of May this year.
